Projected renovations:

Update the historically certified building to code

  1. Replace the derelict two-story porch

  2. Make the building ADA compliant

  3. Correct city building codes and add energy efficiencies

  4. Accommodate an elevator, additional stairway and compliant bathrooms.

  5. Support both community non-profit and income-producing use by adding enough space to make the facility financially sustainable

Potential new use:

Expand income-producing space for financial sustainability

Restaurant use is in demand on Germantown Avenue and will generate income to substantially support maintenance of the entire building.  It will also help stimulate the business community.

Pocket park design:

Revise the landscape to provide outdoor seating and dining. Privately maintained public amenity.
